Schools across the nation are in serious need of tech support in their IT departments. In a recent eSchool News survey, forty-two percent of those surveyed said they have no school-based tech facilitators to offer computer help to teachers. Using a business modelfrom large corporations the employ one support person for every 50 PCs, a school district with 1,000 PCs would need a staff of 20 should there ever be a computer problem.
